Miguel R. Sevilla is a member of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution and Labor and Employment Practice Groups.
Mr. Sevilla specializes in arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, with a strong foundation in construction arbitration proceedings. He also has extensive experience in negotiations, allowing clients to enjoy favorable terms through amicable settlements. He also assists in obtaining material information for clients constrained to litigate claims.
Mr. Sevilla is a member, a trained arbitrator, and an accredited file counsel of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc., a Philippine-based institution administering arbitration.
Mr. Sevilla also has solid dispute resolution experience in areas of commercial and property disputes, family relations, and criminal litigation.
As a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, Mr. Sevilla represents clients in in illegal dismissal and labor standards case, and regularly advises them in administrative proceedings and on merits of cases and penalties. He likewise represents corporate employers in collective bargaining negotiations, successfully securing favorable terms for the clients.
